Are you ready to jump on the Kombucha bandwagon with me? We’re about to go for a very tasty ride…
First (and last) stop, Bend, OR. Because obviously the most delicious Kombucha I have ever tasted comes from this magical land. I am not even kidding when I tell you that Humm Kombucha has MASTERED the art of good kombucha and they’ve done such a good job, you’ll be second guessing if you’re actually drinking fermented tea or some new mystical fizzy drink you cant stop drinking, because it’s too tasty to be anything you’re already familiar with. Ooof, that was a mouthful. (pun intended)
What is Kombucha? And How is it made?
Humm says:
Kombucha is nature’s perfect energy source, loaded with
antioxidants, probiotics and B vitamins.
“An organic culture called a SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast) is added to a sweet tea mixture and fermented for 7-30 days. Then specially trained magic fairies fly to the four corners of the globe to gather the most delicious spices and organic fruit juices available. Fairy dust makes everyone humm.” And I kinda believe them.
Humm Kombucha comes in so many different flavors and I was so lucky enough to try them all. It’s been a non-stop boocha party at my place and I’m not sorry about it.
I have to say my favorite flavors have been the Strawberry Lemonade and the Lemon Ginger. You just cant go wrong with any of the uniquely tantalizing concoctions these guys/girls have come up with.
It doesn’t hurt that they are a “family” owned business who literally started in a home kitchen and grew to something so perfectly produced – you can taste the love in each bottle.
I cant wait to get myself over to Oregon and take a tour of their brewery.
